Joey Donahue is a Los Angeles, CA-based Lighting Designer, Programmer, & Technician with a long-standing reputation for being a jack of all trades within the lighting production community. Always looking for his next challenge, Joey prides himself on solving new and unique problems/logistical puzzles. While the majority of his work has focused on special events and concerts, he has experience in nearly all areas of live production including comedy specials, fashion shows, and corporate presentations.

While most of his work is done behind the lighting console, Joey does not shy away from the manual labor aspect of production...he can often be found climbing truss, flipping cases, and loading trucks with the team.

In addition to working in lighting, Joey also currently functions as a production manager, crew lead, and technical advisor. Joey has been a freelance entertainment professional since 2012, but remains open to long-term employment opportunities.
